Complete Jewish Bible - Online

Earlier yesterday I was compiling the Parasha, Haftera, & B'rit Hadasha readings for this coming Shabbat. Due to my low-vision condition I use a downloaded version of theCJB that allows me to read the content without using a desktop magnifier and just listen to the screen reader instead.

 

Up until recently this system has worked quite well ...until the software developed a bug. First the system wouldn't let me copy the entire selected string of text to the clip board. Rather, only the first verse was displayed when I pasted to my word document for my screen reader to do the reading. Then the icon for accessing the list of books, chapters, verses, and choice of bible version had completely vanished.

 

In my effort to remedy this I inadvertantly deleted my downloaded version of the CJB. Since I must be in my office, in the detached garage, to do my reading and my wife reads the only other copy we have in the house, this presented a bit of a problem.

 

So I decided to search for a CJB on CD. It's interesting what you can find when you're not looking for it. What did I find? A website that offers free access to the CJB. It works much like Bible Gateway only that site doesn't have the CJB.
