Netzarim, Original followers of Yeshua & His 12
I have a serious issue.
We all keep on about unity, it doesn't matter what religion or sect you subscribe to, everyone wants the love and unity of being together. Even nature teaches it, 'birds of a feather flock together etc.'
Scripture wants us in unity but it makes a big point of unity in truth (also Torah) in some places to the point of death.
The Poop, sorry, Pope is uniting the whole world together in the NWO's idea of unity - super compromise and squashing of scriptural values and the inclusion of every pagan religion in the world, a giant meltijg pot, maybe the cup of Babylon with its abominations. So he is into Unity in Error.
As people we all keep saying "I'm teaching Scripture, no Man Made Doctrines here!" And to that I say Ox Poo! We have no choice.
The second we read a scripture we have a list of issues at play...
- Translation version
- Manuscript Families used to translate
- Various meanings of Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Latin and English words.
- Personal cognitive slant, bias and ways of thinking.
- Weather we have the true Ruach HaQodesh (Holy Spirit) or not.
- Weather we accept scripture is layered in meanings or not - I believe so.
Calendar issues: a friend of mine has compiled over 17 different takes on the 'scriptural calendar.'
And there are more issues.
If we are truly to band together then I'd like to know how because I am seriously discouraged. I don't believe it is currently popular if we are to take an uncompromising attitude, which I believe is the correct scriptural view.
If people believe 'too' different then scripturally we are not supposed to be joined to 'those in darkness' but this is also the problem.
We all inevitably end up joining into our social and religious circles thinking we have all the answers and others are wrong.
The only things I can suggest is
A) for us all to accept Hebrew words and prophecies and scriptures have layered meanings. This will kill a lot of the "If it is A it can not be B" thinking. Sometimes it is A and B thus C!
B) If someone wants to say Elohim and another Alahim then all agree to still talk. I could say Aluahym and you could say God in the same conversation and we all know what we are on about. Then we could do how our conscience allows but not stop another doing the same, in doing so we are not compromising on our own convictions either.
Apart from those two ideas I don't know.
So, what do you all think? Is it possible to have a genuine unity in truth before Mashiyach comes back or are we all doomed to choose between worldy compromise or the divisive groups we are forced into?
Yahushua, forgive us, helps us.
