- Even for those of us who accept the deity of Rabbeinu Yeshua the question "Is Yeshua HaShem" may be slightly misleading. I do believe that R. Yeshua is divine, if that is what you are asking, but I would hesitate to say that that is consonant with saying that he is HaShem, because the divine Name is not just a generic name for God, it is a technical term referring to the attribute of mercy, with a very specific set of ideas attached to it.
