Would we have a Jewish world leader? If this question were asked of the people of this planet, the most likely answer would be: "Why ask such a foolish question?" After all, the Jews comprises only one percent of the world’s population. Israel is considered a non-entity by most of the world’s inhabitants. So, if one should take a vote amongst the nations of the world as to their support of Israel, the overwhelming majority would be as such: "Let’s get rid of the Jews!" As we study the contemporary history of the Jews, we conclude that not much has changed since the days of Pharoah. The goal was the extermination of the Jew, long before there was a nation of Israel. So, which question will it be: "Get rid of the Jews?" or "Will a Jew rule the world?" The choice is driven by one of two underlying philosophies: The philosophy of the world = worldly wisdom or the Word of God = Holy Scriptures
In local and world news, we can gather that Israel is basically a "thorn in the side" of most of the world’s nations. The Jews, therefore, are not generally supported by the nations of the world. The Arab countries are portrayed as victims of Israeli aggression. The Jews are depicted as having stolen land from the Arabs. But do the facts of history support this conclusion? The answer is decidedly "No!" History concludes that the Jews were living in the land of Israel long before the Arabs set foot in the land.
In the book of Yeshayahu / Isaiah, the Messiah (being a Jew) will come from the tribe of Judah and will rule over all the earth. In chapter nine, we see a few names are given to this great person (Melech Mashiach), It describes Him thus: "For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Yeshayahu 9:6).
The world is impatiently waiting for such a person who can rid this wicked world of wars, and heartaches. Unfortunately, this world is prepared to follow another. Satan and his minions are deceiving the world into rejection of the true Messiah, and to own allegiance to a false Messiah Armilus. But Mashiach Yeshua will return a second time to take up the rightful throne of David in Jerusalem. This will commence the prophecy of Yeshayahu and of Micah: "Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of HaShem, to the Temple of the God of Israel. There he will teach us his ways, so that we may obey him." For in those days HaShem’s teaching and his word will go out from Jerusalem. HaShem will settle international disputes. All the nations will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. All wars will stop, and military training will come to an end. Everyone will live quietly in their own homes in peace and prosperity, for there will be nothing to fear. HaShem Al-mighty has promised this! (Micah 4:2-4 NLT)
So the question remains: "Will a Jew rule the world?" The answer is an overwhelming "Yes!" All the prophecies in God’s Holy Word point to that glorious day.
