The adulterous woman

I've read that the story of the adultress isn't included in the original ancient Aramaic texts. So is it a blatant add-on in other scriptures or is there validity to the story? If it's not can anybody provide links to sites that can prove that the story is a fallacy? Btw, i'm not saying it is. Judgement is still reserved. Toda.
