         JERUSALEM HEBREW/GREGORIAN CALENDAR January 1- December 31, 2011

(All AM and PM Time used on this Calendar is Local Time in Jerusalem, Israel)

GREEN is Conjunction, BLUE is 1st of Month, YELLOW is Full Moon (F.M.) PURPLE is 1st of the Gregorian Month

Ezek 37:15-37:28

[1] By ancient eyes this astronomically full moon at 5:44 AM on the 15th would have risen just before sunset the night of the 14th and looked full to the naked eye.

[2] 248 In the month of Xanthikos, which is by us called Nisan, and is the beginning of our year, on the fourteenth day of the lunar month, when the sun is in Aries, (for in this month it was that we were delivered from bondage under the Egyptians (Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews 3:248 ). For more information on the importance of Josephus and Philo to proving the Scriptural calendar endorsed by Y’shua the Mashiyach, please consult Wheel of Stars.

[3] 250 But on the second day of unleavened bread, which is the sixteenth day of the month, they first partake of the fruits of the earth, for before that day they do not touch them. And while they suppose it proper to honour God, from whom they obtain this plentiful provision, in the first place, they offer the firstfruits of their barley (Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews, 3:250).

[4] 252 When a week of weeks has passed over after this sacrifice, (which weeks contain forty-nine days,) on the fiftieth day, which is Pentecost, but is called by the Hebrews Asartha, which signifies Pentecost , they bring to God a loaf, made of wheat flour,  (Josephus, Antiquities 3:252 ). Both “pentecost” in Greek and “Asartha” in Hebrew refer to the number 50.

[5] See John 10:22.  The same timing was involved in that year (29 CE), in which case its 4th day was on the first day of winter.  Here the first day is on the winter solstice.
